WorkforceGPS Webinar: What Evaluation Details Do I Need for a Plan and How Long Will It Take?

WorkforceGPS, an interactive online communication and learning technical assistance platform sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration (ETA), presents the webinar, What Evaluation Details Do I Need for a Plan and How Long Will It Take?, on Thursday, June 20th, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

This webinar provides an overview of common activities—from start to finish— for each evaluation phase that help state workforce agency managers understand the details they need to plan for and manage the time involved to execute evaluations of RESEA interventions. Presenters in this session introduce the six broad evaluation phases: 1) planning; 2) designing; 3) launching; 4) collecting data; 5) analyzing data; and 6) communicating findings.  An overall evaluation timeline is shared and each evaluation phase is described in greater detail. For each of the evaluation phases, the webinar also describes the associated common activities, likely timeframes for these activities, commonly experienced roadblocks, and tips or remedies to prevent potential roadblocks.
