Fathers Incorporated is hosting a Professional Development Webinar on The Skin I’m In – Engaging Children in Conversations of Race on Monday, July 20^th, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

Based on the book, Daddy, There’s A Noise Outside, by Kenneth Braswell, CEO of Fathers Incorporated, this training explores the sensitive conversation of race with young children. Have a difficult talk with our children on subjects like race, violence, protest, etc. can be difficult for parents, however more difficult for teachers who are unaware of the possible traumatic experience a child could face. The book is accompanied by a downloadable parent-teacher guide to provide tips and resource for this hard to have conversation.
