The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, in partnership with the National Fund for Workforce Solutions, the Aspen Institute, and the Good Companies, Good Jobs Initiative at the Sloan School of Management, presents the third webinar, in the Investing in America’s Workforce: Engaging Workers in Creating Good Jobs series on Thursday, April 26th, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Why aren’t there more good jobs? What factors facilitate—or hinder— the creation of high-quality jobs? In this webinar, you will learn about some of the latest research on these questions. The webinar will include an overview of recent research on job quality—and of debates about “high-road” vs. “low-road” employment practices. You will also gain new insights into factors that affect job quality in two industries—long-term care and retail— that each employ large numbers of low-paid workers in the U.S.
