NCPN Webinar Series: A Useful Tool and How to Use It – the U.S. Department of Labor Career Pathways Toolkit

The National Career Pathway Network (NCPN) is hosting the webinar, A Useful Tool and How to Use It – the U.S. Department of Labor Career Pathways Toolkit, on Tuesday, November 27^th, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. 

The Career Pathways toolkit published by the Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration (DOLETA) offers a clear and user-friendly road map for administrators, service providers, practitioners, and policymakers seeking to develop Career Pathways systems at local, regional, and/or state levels. The toolkit details the Six Key Elements Framework:

1. Build cross-agency partnerships and clarify roles
2. Identify industry sectors and engage employers
3. Design education and training programs
4. Identify funding needs and sources
5. Align policies and programs
6. Measure system change and performance

The toolkit also highlights promising practices and provides tools designed to support visioning and strategic planning. This webinar will walk you through the toolkit, providing helpful hints on how to use it at the local level.
