REMI Webinar: GM Plant Shutdowns – Fiscal and Economic Aftermath

REMI is presenting a special webinar presentation on GM Plant Shutdowns – Fiscal and Economic Aftermath on Tuesday, December 18^th, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

As part of a broad restructuring, the auto manufacturer announced it will idle facilities located in Michigan, Ohio, Maryland, and Ontario, Canada, and reduce its workforce by 15 percent.  This webinar will take a closer look at the implications for Michigan and include an evaluation of the broader impacts to state employment and output and implications for state tax revenue.
