The MAX Academy offers professional development and capacity building training workshops to help workforce development professionals develop new skills, learn best practices, and engage in peer-to-peer learning.
MAX Leadership Network
The MAX Leadership Network is comprised of workforce leaders who convene regularly to strengthen our collective capacity as workforce developers to meet the needs that employers have for a ready workforce.
Through periodic regional convening events for our workforce development community, MAX seeks to connect workforce developers with employers to better understand current and emerging workforce needs.

Georgia WorkSmart is a work-based learning initiative operated by the Georgia Department of Economic Development. The initiative promotes work-based learning models, such as apprenticeships, as a workforce development tool throughout the State. Georgia WorkSmart assists Georgia companies in developing and implementing customized programs to meet their specific hiring and training needs.
The Metro Atlanta Chamber’s Educated Workforce Council aligns our workforce development efforts with education initiatives to deliver workforce solutions with a lasting impact. The Council keeps the business community informed of available resources to help with workforce challenges and opportunities to engage in the education system.
