RESEARCH ANALYST, FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF ATLANTA
The Atlanta Fed’s Community and Economic Development department seeks a research analyst with interest in advancing economic equality in Southeastern communities. This position works directly with the CED staff in support of projects related to foreclosure and neighborhood revitalization, small business development and finance, workforce development, and community development finance.
The analyst will be responsible for implementing activities of the department including conducting quantitative and qualitative research, developing digital data products and visualizations, writing and editing publications, managing collaborative projects across internal and external stakeholders, and supporting events and deeper engagements in communities. We anticipate that a portion of this position will be focused on supporting events, outreach, and communication efforts of the team, while the remainder will be focused on applied research support through research, analysis, data tool development, and writing.
The research analyst should be skilled in communicating complex concepts in accessible writing and visualization, project and event management, building relationships and partnerships, and conducting research. A master’s degree and one to two years of experience is preferred. This position is a two-year posting, subject to extension. The posting will be open until filled.
