Through MAX Mondays – our weekly digest designed to help workforce developers stay abreast of the many happenings in the Atlanta region’s workforce development community – MAX is pleased to share information on job fairs and hiring events, employers hiring today, career development opportunities, and other engagements that connect our neighbors with supportive resources for advancing in the workplace. Beginning with our July 27 issue, MAX Mondays will include a new Community Resource Events section.
The addition of the Community Resource Events section expands our commitment to helping workforce partners stay connected by highlighting opportunities that promote health, wellness, financial stability, and access to essential services.
Examples of events that may be featured in this new section include:
- Back-to-school supply giveaways
- Food distributions and community pantries
- Health fairs and free health screenings
- Financial literacy workshops
- Housing and rental assistance events
- Expungement and legal aid clinics
- Resource fairs featuring multiple community service providers
- Mental health and wellness events
- Transportation assistance programs
- Family and youth engagement activities
This new section is intended to help workforce professionals connect job seekers and their families with valuable community resources that support long-term success both in the workplace and in everyday life.
