2U: Bias & Microaggressions: Subtle Inequities in the Academy

2U is hosting an online seminar on Bias & Microaggressions: Subtle Inequities in the Academy on Friday, July 23^rd, at 12:00 PM.

This seminar is intended for higher education faculty. 

In this session, Dr. Annie Grier, Owner and Principal Consultant at IDEAAS, LLC, and Fordham University faculty in the Masters of Social Work program, will lead participants on an exploration of two subtle interpersonal and institutional ways that inequity shows up in higher education. Participants will also discuss how the impacts of bias and microaggressions affect the retention and performance of students in their academic pursuits.
