The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is hosting a webinar on The Geography of Inequality: How Place Plays a Key Role in Economic Disparity and Disadvantage on Monday, March 29th, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
From infrastructure and services to grocery stores, where you live plays a key role in how you live. For low and moderate income communities, particularly those of color, investments in these critical areas have not kept pace with more affluent places, at best, and at worst, they have been specifically excluded. Bridging the gap between economic equity and opportunity must include bold and decisive action to improve the places disadvantaged peoples live and work. Our discussion will include leading voices in the work of bringing economic equity and opportunity to every corner and cul de sac.
