The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) is hosting the Registered Apprenticeship Virtual Academy from Monday, February 13th through Wednesday, February 15th.
A Registered Apprenticeship Program is a workforce development tool that provides tangible benefits for both job seekers and employers. Job seekers and incumbent workers benefit from receiving on-the-job-training and education, an opportunity to earn and learn, and a nationally recognized industry credential for meaningful employment. Employers benefit from having a pipeline of talented workers equipped with skills to meet industry demands, increase productivity and quality in the workplace, and generate higher levels of employee retention. In this virtual academy, Thomas P. Miller & Associates (TPMA) will provide an overview of Registered Apprenticeship Programs and share best practices for implementing this innovative workforce solution.
