The tight labor market and shifts in the workplace have put pressure on human resources to create plans that fill open positions and address in-office and remote work arrangements. According to Nicholas Bloom, Stanford professor of economics, “The fully remote plane is about to crash. I’m surprised it’s lasted this long.” Bloom recently told CNBC that more flexibility in scheduling is key. But what about the hot topics of compensation, diversity and mental wellness?
