DESCRIPTION:The Metro Atlanta eXchange for Workforce Solutions (MAX) is convening workforce partners for MAX Talks with Centennial Yards on Wednesday\, October 14th\, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Centennial Yards. \nCentennial Yards is Atlanta’s transformative 50-acre\, mixed-use development that is reshaping a historic area of downtown with new office\, residential\, retail\, hospitality\, and entertainment spaces while creating significant employment opportunities. The project is expected to create thousands of permanent jobs while also generating construction jobs throughout its multi-year buildout \nThis MAX Talks will provide us with an opportunity to hear from Centennial Yards leadership about current and future workforce needs\, including the occupations and industries where they need the greatest hiring support. Participants will gain valuable insights into opportunities for collaboration and learn how workforce development partners can better align programs\, services\, and talent pipelines with employer needs being created through this landmark development. \nFollowing our lunch discussion\, guests will be treated to a windshield tour of the 50-acre mega-project.
