SUMMARY:National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE): From Learning to Earning: Building Accessible Pathways from Campus to Career
DESCRIPTION:The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) is hosting From Learning to Earning: Building Accessible Pathways from Campus to Career on Thursday\, October 22nd\, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. \nInternships can be a powerful bridge between education and employment\, providing students with opportunities to apply what they have learned\, develop career competencies\, build professional relationships\, and gain the confidence and experience needed to navigate the workplace. Yet\, the 2020 Census reported that people with disabilities are less likely to enter and complete college\, and many post-secondary career development programs do not recognize the inequities that students with disabilities face during the transition from education to employment. Therefore\, thoughtfully designed internships are imperative for garnering increased participation among students with disabilities\, and collaboration across traditional institutional boundaries can serve to optimize the design process. This session will highlight a partnership between CU Boulder and the State of Colorado’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) that helped create and support a successful multi-month internship for Keith\, a neurodivergent recent graduate of the university. \nClick here to learn more and register.

SUMMARY:National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE): Beyond Retention: How to Prove the Business Impact of Early Career Programs
DESCRIPTION:The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) is hosting Beyond Retention: How to Prove the Business Impact of Early Career Programs on Friday\, October 30th\, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. \nGallup estimates that replacing employees can cost between 40% and 200% of salary\, depending on the role. Yet many early career teams still focus on hiring\, completion\, and retention metrics while struggling to demonstrate the broader business value of their programs. As budget scrutiny increases and expectations from senior leaders grow\, the ability to connect early career investment to business outcomes has become a critical capability. This session explores the three measurement shifts that move early career teams from reporting activity to demonstrating value. Participants will learn practical ways to connect program outcomes to capability development\, talent pipeline strength\, and business priorities\, building a compelling business case that secures executive support and future investment. \nClick here to learn more and register.

SUMMARY:National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE): Developing Career Readiness Competencies for Skills-Based Hiring
DESCRIPTION:The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) is hosting Developing Career Readiness Competencies for Skills-Based Hiring on Friday\, November 13th\, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. \nSkills-based hiring has shifted the student focus from simply logging career readiness metrics to actively developing verifiable workplace skills. This session shows how a scalable\, simulation-based program builds real skills through relatable workplace scenarios. Interactive video modules and simulations teach and reinforce these vital skills\, giving students repeated practice with real-time feedback. Assessment data shows measurable growth\, and students earn a verified certificate of completion. Attendees will learn practical strategies for helping students generalize these skills beyond the simulation and into real workplace settings. \nClick here to learn more and register.

SUMMARY:National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE): Flipping the Campus Recruiting Model with AI
DESCRIPTION:The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) is hosting Flipping the Campus Recruiting Model with AI on Wednesday\, November 18th\, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. \nCampus recruiting has always run on the model of showing up to events and hoping you meet the right candidates. AI is flipping that model\, so recruiters arrive at events with an interview schedule already filled with best-fit candidates. This session draws on survey data from Yello’s State of Campus Recruiting Report to look at where AI actually stands in campus recruiting today\, and what’s changing as a result. Attendees will leave with a read on where AI actually helps in campus recruiting today\, and where the real work still belongs to a human. \nClick here to learn more and register.
