The Healthcare Workforce Program seeks to connect residents (Westside and Southwest areas of the Beltline Planning Area – as focus geographies) to employment or training leading to quality career pathway jobs in healthcare, focusing initially on seven promising entry-level occupations. These occupations include Certified Nursing Assistants, Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, Medical Records Specialists, Phlebotomists, Health Technicians, Patient Care Technicians, and Community Health Workers.
ABI is seeking a skilled and experienced provider to submit qualifications to execute a pilot workforce development program on behalf of ABI focused on career development and training; other career-oriented support services; business development and employer partnerships; and data and reporting.
ABI anticipates that entire will have two core components and will be completed with 18 months:
I. Program Planning – This will be an initial 3-month period of developing a plan based on existing research, goals and metrics, establishing a detailed project plan, etc.
II. Program Delivery – Delivery the workforce development services as determined by the agreed upon plan. This phase is anticipated to be ~ 15 months.
