MAX ALERT: Only 6 Seats Remaining in the Certified Business Engagement Professional™ Cohort

January 13, 2019

Business U is providing MAX stakeholders another opportunity to participate at a discount in their Certified Business Engagement Professional (CBEP) cohort starting Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

Certified Business Engagement Professional™ – 6 seats left!
This course is designed to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to engage business and industry successfully as a partner in sector strategies, career pathways, work-based learning, and as a customer with government-funded services. It culminates in an interactive capstone project—a strategic business engagement action plan (BEAP) that includes a one-on-one consultation (oral exam) with the course facilitator. Unlike other courses that offer “certification,” Business U’s comprehensive and facilitated online course is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and developed by Business U’s subject matter experts and winner of the IACET 2017 Innovation of the Year Award in Learner Engagement.

“There are engagement practices that I’m definitely going to change as a result of getting certified with Business U. What I learned is that businesses are wired differently and we have to meet them where they are in their heads every day. A business’ main mission is to be competitive, which is definitely not our mission. But, our role is not to show up and talk about all our programs and what the business can do for us, but rather to demonstrate how our services can help them in their mission.”

Dr. Willie Myles, Business U CBEP Graduate
Statewide Coordinator of Community & Corporate Partnerships
Georgia Department of Human Services
