Professional Development

MAX Minutes

Through our webinar series, MAX Minutes, MAX seeks to bring timely insights to providers, intermediaries, and other partners in workforce. MAX Minutes features talks by key experts in the Atlanta region and beyond on important workforce matters.

OUR LATEST MAX MINUTES

From childcare and high demand careers to college completion grants and apprenticeships, lawmakers considered several important bills for Georgians during the 2025 Georgia General Assembly legislative session.

In April 2025, public policy leaders Tim Cairl, Vice President, Talent Development, Metro Atlanta Chamber and Cosby Johnson, Vice President, Government Relations, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, once again joined MAX to provide their annual recap on which pieces of legislation – workforce and education-related – successfully passed both chambers of the legislature and other outcomes from the session. They also shared some early insights on what to potentially look forward to in the 2026 legislative session.
