ABOUT OUR NEXT ANNUAL MEETING
On Wednesday, December 9th, MAX will hold our 6th Annual Meeting of the MAX Membership. This is our time of year when we have an opportunity to gather with our beloved MAX members as we celebrate the year behind and preview the year head.
Our keynote speaker will be Anna Roach. Executive Director & CEO of the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC). ARC’s vision is to create One Great Region through its mission to foster thriving communities for all within the Atlanta region through collaborative, data-informed planning and investments.As Executive Director & CEO, Ms. Roach manages the agency’s $104 million operating budget and leads a talented team that works with local governments and community partners to improve life in the Atlanta region. ARC’s portfolio includes regional transportation planning, aging services, community development, water resources management, workforce development, and homeland security coordination.
In addition to her role as CEO, Roach is a member of the Atlanta Rotary Club, the International Women’s Forum Georgia, and the Women’s Transportation Seminar. She also serves on the Transportation Research Board of the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, the Leadership Council of the Board for Drawdown Georgia, the Executive Committee of the Board for Learn4Life, the board of the Partnership for Inclusive Innovation, and the board of Council for Quality Growth.
Roach has been named one of the 100 most influential Georgians by Georgia Trend, one of the 500 most powerful Atlanta leaders by Atlanta Magazine, and is one of Engineering Georgia’s top 100 Most Influential Women in Georgia Engineering.
At this year’s meeting, we will graduate our Leadership MAX Class of 2026, our second cohort of our program to support existing and emerging leaders in the workforce field, and announce the members of our Leadership MAX Class of 2027!
During this time, we will also recognize the recipient of the 2026 Wendell Dallas Excellence in Leadership Award, in honor of our founding board chair, Wendell Dallas. This award recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond in providing leadership in workforce development through the Metro Atlanta eXchange for Workforce Solutions (MAX) and/or MAX partners. An individual recognized through this award is known for leading with integrity, devotion, and selflessness in service to others in the workforce development sector.
Last but not least, we will receive updates from MAX Chair Dana Inman, president & CEO of Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency and the MAX leadership team and hear about Inman’s vision for the year ahead.
This event will bring our members together for a time of fun, enlightenment, and fellowship.
