CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPERS

MAX JOB BOARD: TechBridge Seeks Certified Trainer – Amazon Web Services for its Technology Career Program

March 7, 2021

From TechBridge:

TechBridge is a nonprofit that uses innovation and technology to break the cycle of generational poverty. Our work transforms nonprofits and community impact. We fulfill our mission by providing nonprofits that are engaged in poverty alleviation with improved capabilities, data, and operations; enhancing agency collaboration through data and resource sharing; and improving collective action among communities through performance metrics, shared outcomes, and insightful analytics. TechBridge works to give people the best chance of avoiding poverty through technology enhancements that build capacity and facilitate collaboration within communities. Our work spans four pillars – hunger, homelessness, workforce development and social justice.

The workforce development team is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate trainer who can enhance and enrich the learning experience for every learner. The Amazon Web Services (AWS) re/Start instructor’s primary responsibility is to teach the AWS re/Start curriculum over a course of 12 weeks. The program will have an emphasis on a broad range of technical subjects combined with soft skills, through embedded and stand-alone sessions. The combination of technical and soft skills will help learners towards the program outcome of employability.

The Trainer ensures that training and all related activities translate to business results. The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for teaching, technology, learning and possesses the ability and desire to keep up with current technologies.
