CobbWorks, Inc., a private 501c(3) not-for-profit organization is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for audio-visual technology for the new Cobb Work Source Center, a full service workforce development center and co-working space.
With significant population increases, a lack of adequate transportation, coupled with a multitude of other barriers; it has become increasingly apparent that the one America’s Job Center in Marietta is causing disparate impact on access to services, especially for residents in the southernmost portion of CobbWorks. CobbWorks will expand access to resources and services by opening a secondary service center.
The service center will act as a resource to jobseekers and businesses in Cobb’s highest needs communities, providing the full array of WIOA business services along with employment, education, training and wrap around services to adults and youth. The SouthCobb location would immediately address an urgent need in communities that are home to CobbWorks’s highest population of ESL and low-income youth and adults. The location will also provide direct benefits to low- to moderate-income households as the facility will house partner organizations that are jointly responsible for workforce, economic development, educational, and other human services to build a skilled and talented workforce.
CobbWorks, Inc. issues this Request for Proposal (RFP) to competitively procure contractors and vendors to complete the AV services for the new workforce development service center in the city of Mableton.
