City of Refuge: Culinary Arts Program

The City of Refuge is hosting a Culinary Arts Program (15 weeks) starting Monday, February 5th, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM each day, at the City of Refuge.
The Culinary Arts Program provides insight into food production skills, various levels of industry management, and hospitality skills for students interested in pursuing a career in the foodservice industry. Each student receives hands-on experience. The course is structured to teach the fundamentals and basic concepts of culinary techniques. Also, it develops critical skills such as punctuality, appearance, communication, and customer service. Successful Students will earn a ServSafe certification towards finding employment in Food Preparation and Serving related occupations. This program will require students to attend classes daily, Monday-Friday.
