The 2024 Georgia General Assembly legislative session was a robust 40-day session for lawmakers as they considered several important bills for Georgians. Join MAX for a full recap on the session’s outcomes impacting workforce development. Tim Cairl, Senior Director- Educated Workforce, Metro Atlanta Chamber, and Cosby Johnson, Director- Government Affairs, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, will share highlights of which pieces of legislation successfully passed both chambers of the legislature as it relates to education and other workforce development matters. They will also share some early insights on what to potentially look forward to in the 2025 legislative session.
