Workforce GPS is hosting a webinar on Implementing Effective, Inclusive and Evidence-Based Substance Use Policies on Tuesday, February 27th, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
This final webinar in our three-part case management series will share policies and evidence-based approaches to help address unhealthy or risky substance use among YouthBuild participants. Presenters will outline the challenges and implications of substance use in YouthBuild programs and discuss how to successfully approach designing and managing substance use policies. Jake Cook, CEO of CLIMB Community Development Corporation (CDC), will share his experiences and best practices about drug policies at his program. Finally, Morgan Seiler, Behavioral Health Advisor at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) will present evidence-based practices and tools you can implement in your program.
