For  25 years, City of Refuge has been working directly where the crisis is the strongest to create something truly different:  A ONE STOP SHOP – A campus, 8 acres in size, in the heart of the city. Due to decades of neglect and lack of opportunities, the people who live here are oftentimes without hope.  Our neighborhood is filled with men, women, and children living in a constant state of crisis.

Individuals and families experience an uninterrupted journey out of extreme poverty. We provide safe housing with supportive services for mothers with children and single women experiencing homelessness, along with survivors of sexual exploitation and trauma.

We provide all individuals on campus meals 3 x a day, 365 days a year through the 180 Kitchen. We provide access to our residents & community to medical, dental, vision, and mental health.

We prepare individuals who are under or unemployed with skills and resources such as job training, GED prep. Resume writing, financial literacy, and job fairs to secure employment. We offer various cohorts such as auto mechanic, security, coding, cyber, culinary among the classes we hold in the Workforce Innovation Hub.
