MISSION

As Cobb County’s American Job Center, WorkSource Cobb provides access to a system of employment and education services for our community.  In an increasingly complex workforce and economy, people sometimes need guidance and assistance in managing their career development, particularly when challenged with unexpected events.  WorkSource Cobb provides workforce services that assist people in helping themselves and their families.

In an increasingly complex workforce and economy, people sometimes need guidance and assistance in managing their career development, particularly when challenged with unexpected events. WorkSource Cobb provides workforce services that assist people in helping themselves and their families through career services, training services, specialized training options, young adult services, and literacy services.

WorkSource Cobb connects employers with skilled talent through offering business services and resources to hire and train during onboarding (On-the-Job Training) and train current employees (Incumbent Worker Training) to increase their skill develop for the success of the company.
