MAX ALERT: LinkedIn Releases July 2019 Workforce Report on Hiring Trends and Skills Gap in Metro Atlanta

July 21, 2019

With access to insights from over 155 million workers in the U.S. with LinkedIn profiles and more than 20,000 companies in the U.S. that use LinkedIn to recruit, the business and employment-oriented service company’s LinkedIn Workforce Report is a monthly report on employment trends in the U.S. workforce.  The report includes localized information for 20 major metro areas, including Atlanta.

Subject to the degree at which individuals update their profiles, the report provides a snapshot on hiring activities, the skills that are more or less abundant, and workforce migration patterns.  For example, the July 2019 report indicates that hiring in metro Atlanta increased 2.9 percent from June 2018 to June 2019, a growth that continues an ongoing trend of outpacing the nation.

The July report reviews year-over-year changes as well as migration patterns.
