With access to insights from over 165 million workers in the U.S. with LinkedIn profiles and more than 20,000 companies in the U.S. that use LinkedIn to recruit, the business and employment-oriented service company’s LinkedIn Workforce Report is a monthly report on employment trends in the U.S. workforce. The report includes localized information for 20 major metro areas, including Atlanta.
Subject to the degree at which individuals update their profiles, the report provides a snapshot on hiring activities, the skills that are more or less abundant, and workforce migration patterns. For example, the November 2019 report indicates that hiring in metro Atlanta was 1.5 percent lower in October 2019 than in October 2018.
The November report reviews year-over-year changes as well as migration patterns.
