CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPERS

MAX JOB BOARD: TechBridge Seeks TechWorks Apprenticeship Program Manager

March 7, 2021

From TechBridge:

Are you a passionate, strategic, and innovative technology leader who can work with community leaders and employer partners to execute and shape a student apprenticeship program experience?

The TechWorks Apprenticeship Program Manager will report to the Director of Technology Career Program (TCP) at TechBridge. TechBridge is a technology non-profit, with a mission of breaking the cycle of generational poverty through the innovative use of technology to transform nonprofits and community impact. We do this through 4 pillars: hunger relief, homeless support, social justice and workforce development.

This Program Manager is a member of the TCP tem. TCP is a no-cost, part-time technology and business education program designed to prepare unemployed or underemployed adults for a career in the growing technology job market. Upon graduation from the education program, participants interview with partner employers for entry-level technology roles and receive six months of career coaching and mentorship.

We are seeking candidates who are self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and have strong intellectual curiosity. This role requires a high degree of relational strengths, self-directedness, flexibility, and motivational qualities.

The Program Manager will be responsible for managing external training providers and employers to ensure that all apprentices have successful classroom instruction training, as well as on-the-job training to thrive in the IT sector.

This is a grant-funded, one-year contract position with the potential to renew and go full-time. If you are a highly organized, enthusiastic, data driven and resourceful individual, with an entrepreneurial spirit, please apply to work with our dedicated team of people whose mission is to provide a transformational apprenticeship experience that leads to a pathway out of poverty.
