From Atlanta CareerRise:
Looking for a professional development opportunity?
Atlanta CareerRise, in partnership with National Fund for Workforce Solutions and Talent Rewire is looking for individuals to serve as Coaches during training sessions for employers. The training — called the Rewire Accelerator — is an interactive, applied-learning experience that combines one-on-one coaching with peer learning to help employers navigate their most pressing talent challenges (e.g., hiring, employee engagement, retention, advancement, systemic racism, diversity and inclusion, etc.). The goal of the Accelerator: help employers create and implement win/win solutions that address their companies’ talent needs, while improving livelihoods and outcomes for workers.
As part of the Accelerator, each participating company will be assigned a Coach. Coaches have critical responsibilities before, during, and after Accelerator training sessions. Coaches will be paid a $500 stipend to support the Accelerator.
The program provides a professional development opportunity to take your work to a new level. Upon completion of this program, you’ll be considered a trained Talent Rewire Coach. You can add this training to your LinkedIn page, resume, and other places where you promote your professional credentials, and we anticipate that we may ask for your involvement in future Accelerators. This is also a professional opportunity to directly address systemic racism, while learning new skills and working with a community of committed and like-minded colleagues.
Ideal candidates have worked as managers of others, and have experience related to hiring, training, motivating and developing direct reports. Experience working as a teacher, trainer, coach, or facilitator is also useful. In addition, experience working in a corporate setting or a comparable experience that provides insights on the realities of corporate structure, processes, systems, bureaucracy and hierarchy will be valuable.
