From Bobby Dodd Institute (BDI):
Through a summer program funded by the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA), BDI will hold weekly workshop sessions that cover five employment-related topics: Job Exploration, Post-Secondary Education/Training, Counseling, Work Readiness, Work-Based Learning, and Self Advocacy Skills. The program known as G.R.O.W. will focus on getting youth ready for opportunity in work. Youth with any kind of disability between the ages of 14 and 22 who are in an education program are eligible to participate in G.R.O.W.
BDI seeks volunteers to help with conducting mock interviews this summer. In addition, BDI is collecting dress for success clothing to share with program participants. Individuals interested in volunteering should contact Monique Bell at [email protected].
