As announced a few weeks ago, MAX has launched our inaugural MAX Community Impact Survey, a survey to help us better understand how workforce providers are making a difference in the lives of job seekers. The survey, to be conducted annually, will serve as a valuable tool for tracking our collective outcomes year-to-year and should provide benchmarks to inform our individual efforts as well.
Given many partners were in the process of closing out one fiscal year and beginning another when the survey was initially launched, MAX is extending the deadline for completion to Wednesday, August 31st.
ABOUT THE MAX COMMUNITY IMPACT SURVEY
The MAX Community Impact Survey was developed by the MAX Data Council in partnership with the MAX Provider Council to help workforce partners more easily share their community impacts.
While this survey will be shared broadly through the MAX network, we are seeking one response per organization and ask that you coordinate your organization’s response accordingly. In return for your organization’s participation, you will receive a summary report of the survey results.
For this survey, you have the opportunity to provide:
- Organizational Information: Name, service area, budgets, number of staff
- Client Demographics: number of people served, gender, race, and education levels of clients
- Enrollment and Outcomes Data: number of people served and completed programming, job placement rates, earnings data pre and post programming.
In order to understand how Atlanta organizations are increasing equity throughout our community, you will also have the opportunity to provide enrollment and outcome data by demographic group (race, gender, ethnicity, or other special population). If you do not collect this information, you can skip over these pages. In such case, we encourage you to consider collecting this information in future years as we all work toward understanding how we’re together achieving a more equitable Atlanta.
Should you have any questions, please contact the MAX Data Council lead for this survey, Katherine Townsend Kiernan with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, at [email protected].

Thank you for sharing your organization’s impacts!
