On Tuesday, July 26th, MAX leaders will join SHRM-Atlanta’s SOAHR 2022 Conference to present on the future of work in metro Atlanta. The SOAHR 2022 Conference is the gathering of the Atlanta human resources community that connects thought leaders and decision makers in the field of HR. This year’s conference will be held on Tuesday, July 26th and Wednesday, July 27th at the Cobb Galleria Center.
Prior to COVID-19, employers were facing significant challenges in recruiting and retaining skilled workers. The pandemic has certainly exacerbated these challenges and now employers everywhere are scrambling to fill their workforce shortages. The session with MAX will cover big picture trends in workforce and what it means for our region. It will also include a review of both chronic and emerging barriers to employment and how workforce providers are making an impact in helping individuals overcome these barriers.
Leading this session will be:
- John Helton, Executive Director, CareerRise (MAX Board Chair)
- Mike Carnathan, Manager, Research & Analytics Division, Atlanta Regional Commission (MAX Data Council Founding Chair)
- Dana Inman, President & CEO, Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency (MAX Provider Council Chair)
- Jenny Taylor, Vice President, Career Services, Goodwill of North Georgia (MAX Vice Chair)
MAX is honored to join SHRM-Atlanta for this great and ever-timely conversation with Atlanta’s HR leaders. SHRM-Atlanta has also arranged for MAX to serve as an exhibitor at the conference and we look forward to the opportunity to visit with conference attendees.
Special thanks to MAX member Jason Cline, CEO of SHRM-Atlanta, and team for providing MAX with these opportunities to engage in SOAHR 2022! Click here for more information on SOAHR 2022.
