MAX PROVIDER SPOTLIGHT: Heavy Equipment Colleges of America Helps Students Excel in Certain Skilled Trades

September 10, 2022

From Heavy Equipment College of America:

Heavy Equipment Colleges of America (HEC) is a private education and training school specializing in training entry-level heavy equipment and crane operators. Founded in 2006, HEC is proud to offer a wide range of training programs focused around equipment such as wheel loader, backhoe, bulldozer, excavator, mobile crane and lattice boom crawler crane. Our locations that offer crane certifications are approved testing sites by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). Certificate of Heavy Equipment Operations – Level I and Certificate of Heavy Equipment Operations – Level II training will qualify you to take the ADEPT (Adaptable Equipment Proficiency Testing) exam, a nationally-recognized heavy equipment operations certification.

Our Georgia location was founded to help provide students with the education necessary to excel in certain skilled trades. More specifically, this location focuses on educating students for careers in heavy equipment and crane operations. We are a testing site approved by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).

ABOUT THE MAX PROVIDER PORTAL

The MAX Provider Portal was launched in 2014 to help local leaders gain a better understanding of metro Atlanta’s workforce ecosystem – namely, who is doing what, where, and for whom. The portal provides the most comprehensive picture of our workforce ecosystem. Providers in the portal are able to share information on the populations and geographies they serve, the services (job search & placement, post-employment services, supportive services, and soft skills training) they provide, the specific occupations and industries they support, and more. The MAX Provider Council oversees and informs the ongoing development of the MAX Provider Portal.
