The Home Depot. A Fortune 20 giant in our own backyard. The world’s largest home improvement retailer, with 2,300 stores across North America, continues to revolutionize how we change home improvement and the retail industry as a whole. In recent years, The Home Depot has expanded its metro Atlanta footprint with three new distribution centers – East Point, Locust Grove, and Stonecrest – to support the growing demand for flexible delivery and pick-up options for Pro and DIY customers alike. In 2022, Fortune reported that despite dealing with supply chain problems and shortages, Home Depot still managed to bring in over $150 billion in sales in the 2021 fiscal year.
On Wednesday, November 16th, MAX Talks with The Home Depot will provide us an opportunity to hear from company leaders about their latest initiative, Path to Pro, which provides free training for the future skilled trades generation, as well as other opportunities for the Atlanta area from their Talent Acquisition team. And we will learn how workforce developers can help.
This event will be held at The Home Depot. Following our lunch, guests will be treated to a personal tour of The Home Depot campus.
