In the recent year, the State of Georgia has led much of the country in its investment in expanding Registered Apprenticeships to employers across the state. Apprentice Georgia, powered by the Technical College System of Georgia, is not only Georgia’s Apprenticeship Promotion and Expansion arm, but also serves as the largest network of Registered Apprenticeship sponsors in the state. This ensures that all employers in Georgia’s in-demand industries have access to partners to help create, expand, or improve apprenticeship programs for skilling Georgia talent.
Brandon Ona, Business Services Director with the TCSG Office of Workforce Development, will join MAX to discuss (1) the basics of Registered Apprenticeships, (2) how Apprentice Georgia can help employers and workforce partners, and (3) existing funding opportunities to offset the costs of apprenticeships.
Join MAX on Friday, March 17th, 9:00 AM, for a timely and virtual conversation.
