The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) is a professional association representing individual workforce development and human resources practitioners, who connect jobseekers, educators and companies to advance the American economy. NAWDP provides the professional development, resources, and certification credibility to individuals seeking to thrive in the workforce development industry as thought leaders and innovators.
NAWDP’s David Barch and Kim Meadows will join MAX to discuss resources available through NAWDP that benefit workforce professionals. First, they will review the importance of credentialing and in particular, the CWDP (Certified Workforce Development Professional) credential, a nationally recognized credential that is offered through NAWDP.
Barch and Meadows will also discuss the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration’s Next Level Now Collaborative, which NAWDP is a partner in. Next Level Now serves as a hub for providing strategic, short-and-long-term technical assistance to the public workforce system and partners. Through peer learning opportunities, information sharing, and access to subject matter experts, the collaborative aims to help state and local entities improve services, quality, and outcomes for job seekers and employers.
Join MAX on Friday, July 21st, 9:00 AM, for a timely and virtual conversation.
