MAX JOB BOARD: TCSG Office of Workforce Development Seeks Apprenticeship Specialist – HDCI

The Apprenticeship Specialist, HDCI Program is responsible for supporting the statewide administration of the High Demand Career Initiative (HDCI) Program for the Technical College System of Georgia’s (TCSG) Office of Workforce Development (OWD). This position will work under the direction of OWD’s Apprenticeship Grants & Operations Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing apprenticeship-related applications and contracts with employers accepted in the HDCI Program;
    • Serving as first point of contact for employers and stakeholders;
    • Reviewing all incoming apprenticeship funding applications for eligibility and completeness;
    • Draft & maintain grant documents, MOUs, and contracts;
    • Tracking grant progress and apprentice enrollments;
    • Preparing data for grant-related reporting, including the annual HDCI Program report;
  • Prepare and ensure all program contracts are reviewed and executed by successful applicants and TCSG staff;
  • Planning, supporting, and coordinating meetings, info sessions, and conferences to support employers in apprenticeship-related initiatives;
  • Monitor grant funds for compliance with federal and state regulations;
  • Assist with apprenticeship-related records retention;
  • Provide technical assistance to stakeholders;
  • Assist with grant closeout processes and related ad hoc reporting; and
  • Other duties as assigned.
