The Business & Immigration for Georgia (BIG) Partnership – a statewide partnership of business and civic leaders committed to strengthening Georgia’s economy by tapping into the potential in the state’s foreign-born communities – is hosting the Maximizing Global Talent: Expanding Georgia’s Healthcare Workforce on Thursday, January 18th, starting at 5:00 PM, at the Latin American Association.
One-in-ten Georgians is foreign-born, bringing valuable skills and experience to the state from countries around the world. Yet, numerous regulatory and other barriers keep foreign-born Georgians from fully participating in the workforce, forcing them to accept low-skill jobs or move to more welcoming states.
