On Tuesday, December 12th, leaders from Atlanta Gas Light joined MAX to discuss workforce needs in the natural gas industry and how workforce partners can best collaborate in meeting these needs.

Service – (Above Ground)
- Deliver world class Customer Service
- Service Commercial and Residential
- Respond to Gas Emergencies
- Activate and Deactivate Service
- Light Customer Appliances
- Operate Basic equipment and tools
- Observe all safety and regulatory guidelines
Distribution – (Below Ground)
- Respond to gas outages
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Operate heavy equipment and hand tools
- Traffic control
- Routine pipe maintenance
- Landscaping and general maintenance
- Install, maintain and repair underground gas lines
- Keep the public safe
- Observe all safety and regulatory guidelines
