On Friday, March 15th, Rhonda Waite, Director, Policy, Training & Compliance, with the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), reviewed the features of the WorkSource Georgia Portal for job seekers and employers.
Through the portal, job seekers can explore careers, access education planning and financial aid resources, find training opportunities, prepare for employment, and search for a new job. Job seekers can also upload multiple resumes tailored to specific job postings and be alerted when jobs are posted that are a potential fit. Employers can post jobs, screen several suitable candidates, determine how well each job seeker matches the job requirements, and access labor market information and industry data to inform decision making. Waite provided a live demo of the portal’s features and functionality.
Rhonda Waite, Director, Policy, Training & Compliance, with TCSG joined MAX on Friday, March 15th, to discuss the implementation of the program thus far, unique features of the platform, and how best to utilize this tool in your organization.
MAX board lead for MAX Minutes, Daniela Perry, Vice President with the Georgia Chamber Foundation, moderated the session.
