The Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is seeking candidates for the position of Bilingual Child Support Services Agent Supervisor for the Communication Center. Must be able to speak FLUENT English and Spanish. This is a telework position. The Agent Supervisor supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff; supervises a unit to establish and enforce child support obligations of responsible parents; and coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manages casework functions within the Child Support Services office or unit.
- Interprets and applies state, federal and agency laws, rules, policies and procedures and assists staff with sensitive complex cases.
- Provides human resources management direction to assigned staff.
- Performs administrative assignments as required for the efficient operations of the unit.
- Coordinates and participates in local and statewide project, as requested.
- Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by manager, director or leadership team.
Core Competences:
- Home-based technology that is equipped with a Windows-based operating system and high-speed internet access in order to receive the agency’s software applications required for candidates approved to telework.
- Compliance with State of GA teleworking policy requirements.
- Excellent oral, written, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard software applications typically used in a corporate office environment.
