Stand Together – a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems – recently produced a video to tell the story of First Step Staffing, an Atlanta home-grown, nonprofit staffing agency with offices in Augusta, Philadelphia, Southern California, Nashville, Orlando, Dallas, and Houston.
While individuals experiencing homelessness and those with a history with the justice system are routinely screened out of jobs, First Step helps these individuals and other individuals facing barriers, including our veterans, find suitable employment within 72 hours. The agency provides transportation and other support to help individuals overcome barriers and stay employed.
