From our smart phones and smart cars to our smart homes and smart workplaces, artificial intelligence (AI) is having an ever-increasing impact on the way we live, work, and do business.
Through our next MAX Academy, we will explore the use of AI in the workforce development field. Specifically, we will learn about the growing applications of AI and review ethical considerations when using AI. We will then review tools for leveraging AI in our everyday use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and learn about device settings for optimizing AI. And we will dive into specific resume, interviewing, and job search tools and strategies using AI. Participants will have an opportunity to engage in mock interviews with AI tools.
NOTE: This workshop is designed to be interactive and hands-on with real-time application of AI tools. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops.(Laptops will be provided if needed.)
This MAX Academy is held in partnership with NPursuit Career Partners and Gwinnett Technical College.
Providing opening remarks will be Dr. Glen Cannon, President, Gwinnett Technical College.
Lead instructor will be Jahari Soward, CEO, NPursuit Career Partners.
An expert on AI and the workforce from the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) will serve as our lunch speaker.
The MAX Academy will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at Gwinnett Technical College. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
