In January 2025, MAX launched our inaugural Leadership MAX Class of 2025, powered by Amazon. Leadership MAX (L-MAX) is a competitively selected, cohort-based leadership development program designed especially for developing leaders in the workforce development field. The 2025 L-MAX cohort, led by MAX past-board chair John Helton and MAX Member Engagement Council chair Breezy Straton, includes 25 workforce development professionals of diverse backgrounds and experiences. One of the goals of Leadership MAX is to help foster lifelong connections among class members that will be mutually productive for all concerned. the L-MAX Class of 2025 is off to a great start with our two-day opening retreat and learning day focused on policy and lawmaking.
