Compiled through MAX for the Leadership MAX Class of 2025 and broader network, Data Resources for Workforce Developers highlights several data tools from the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, government agencies at the federal and state levels, the Atlanta Regional Commission, and more. From labor market information and employment indicators to measures of housing affordability and individual wellbeing, helpful data is just a click away.
Here are just a few examples of highlighted data tools:
Career Ladder Identifier and Financial Forecaster (CLIFF): Career Ladder Identifier and Financial Forecaster, or CLIFF, is an umbrella for interactive financial planning tools designed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta to provide information about benefits loss along a career path.
Georgia Power Economic Development: Top Industries: Georgia Power provides a broad range of data and analysis on industries and economic development across the state and beyond.
Housing and Transportation (H+T) Affordability Index: The Housing and Transportation (H+T®) Affordability Index from the Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) provides a comprehensive
view of affordability that includes both the cost of housing and the cost of transportation at the neighborhood level.
Neighborhood Nexus: Neighborhood Nexus is an Atlanta-based regional information system, providing data, tools and expertise as a catalyst to create more equitable and livable communities for all of the region’s citizens.
Opportunity Atlas: The Opportunity Atlas is a collaboration between researchers at the U.S. Census Bureau and Opportunity Insights at Harvard University. Which places in America offer children the best chance to rise out of poverty? The Opportunity Atlas answers this question using anonymous data following millions of Americans from childhood to adulthood.
