MAX ALERT: Operation HOPE Founder and CEO Shares Insights on AI and the Future of Work

August 3, 2025

While artificial intelligence is ushering in an industrial revolution of sorts, Operation HOPE Founder and CEO John Hope Bryant sees AI as having the potential to also usher in the greatest opportunity of our generation. Bryant sees an AI-assisted world where digitally fluent workers from underserved communities can able to access careers currently beyond their reach. Says Bryant: “We could use AI to create millions of new, dignified, middle-class jobs, empower the overlooked and underestimated, and, perhaps for the first time in a long time, rebuild the American Dream from the bottom up.”

Operation HOPE partnered with Georgia State University this summer to launch the AI Literacy Pipeline to Prosperity Project (AILP3). Through this program, 50 young people from Atlanta were trained in AI tools and use cases. Bryant believes the model created through AILP3 could be modeled in cities beyond Atlanta.
