MAX Minutes with Chris Green, Georgia Student Finance Commission, to Focus on Access to Education

February 22, 2026

As the state’s single higher education finance agency, the Georgia Student Finance Commission’s mission is to promote and increase access to education beyond high school for Georgians. The agency has a long history of helping students access higher education by providing financial aid options and programs to make college more affordable.

Chris Green, President of the Georgia Student Finance Commission, will join MAX to provide an update on how Georgia’s student financial aid programs are shaping the state’s workforce. This session will cover recent legislative and budget updates, highlight program innovations, and share strategies that connect education to economic growth. Chris will also discuss practical ways workforce and economic development professionals can support talent development in their communities.

Join MAX on Friday, February 27th, 9:00 AM, for a timely and virtual conversation.
