Brookings is hosting a webinar on How Advanced Technologies are Reshaping Manufacturing on Monday, July 15th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Brookings Institution.
Advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and data analytics are changing manufacturing. These tools are improving office productivity, inventory, supply chain management, and plant operations. Through the virtues of cost management, productivity enhancements, and logistical advances, these technologies are helping managers and workers increase performance and deal with complicated logistics outside the organization. As part of the thirteenth annual John Hazen White Forum on Public Policy, Governance Studies at Brookings will host a panel discussion about the organizational, policy, and geopolitical aspects of manufacturing and ways to integrate technology into operations and management.
