Georgia Center for Nonprofits: Ethics in Fundraising

Georgia Center for Nonprofits is hosting an Ethics in Fundraising workshop on Thursday, February 1^st, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, at GCN Headquarters.

Transparency inspires donor loyalty and confidence. Beyond what the law dictates, nonprofits must demonstrate their dedication to ethical practices by being transparent with financial information and fundraising practices. At the end of the course, you will be able to define what ethics are and why they are important to nonprofit resources development, identify the institutions that define ethics in the field, and describe the American Fundraising Professional codes of ethics and professional standards.
