Georgia Center for Nonprofits is hosting a Legal Compliance and Policy Development event on Friday, August 30th, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, at GCN Headquarters.
Nonprofit managers must be prepared to protect the business, employees, volunteers, and themselves from legal liability. This course will outline the major federal employment-related laws and regulations. It will provide nonprofit managers with the tools necessary to identify compliance “red flags” and the knowledge to know when to take action to rectify a situation, and when to seek legal advice.
